My Friedman 2x12 came from the factory with two 16 ohm speakers that make an 8 ohm cabinet, so it's wired parallel. Any reason to try a series wiring it with two 8 ohm speakers that will make it a 16 ohm cab? Will it influence the tone in any (good for my gainy Smallbox 50) way?
