Which would you rather have? Does the Randall Plexi Module do marshall better than marshall?

I've just discovered these amps and it seems to be the perfect sound I've been looking for...AC30 meets Plexi. However, I've read problems about the two channels sharing Volume control? Has this been fixed with the series II? I wouldn't want a two channel amp where I can only have one...
