Depth/Resonance mod potentiometer value?

Hi,
what would be the best potentiometer choice for a resonance mod in a JCM800 2203 style circuit? I played around with fixed values and liked the 220k resistor and 0.033uF or 0.022uF cap combination, but haven`t tried any other resistor values.

What would you suggest as a pot value? 500K or 1M to get and even bigger adjustment range?
And probably more important, what taper would you choose to prevent a too finicky adjustment, lin or log?

Most amps that have a resonance pot are 1M audio taper, with a .0047uf cap and a couple I've seen have 250k, 0022uf. I've played around with capacitor values and different pot resistances. .0068uf sounds really cool as well with a 1M pot. I found the 250k pot to not have enough range for me. It really depends on the the freq you want to play with and how much of an effect you want or how fine of range you want. Really find it's just setting it where it sounds good for that guitar and just leave it there.
