Just some riffs in a mix through this amazing combination of gear.



I know there's a lot of dislike for the Savage 120 on the forums. and I'm not sure why. Aside from my poor mix, this thing really cuts, and sounds pretty brutal imho. No boost either.

The Savage hate on the forums is real, don't tell me you didn't see the thread on which amps people were happy to get rid of? Engl amps were way up there along with Revvs.

I missed that thread haha, will look it up.

The Savage doesn't do the 80s Marshall thing for sure but it does its own thing, very aggressively.

I agree. I wish I was better with mics, I always feel like I can’t get the same in the room feel that I want to convey with IRs.
