*SOLD* So does anyone have a S, D or H amp that they wish was a K? I've been kicking around the idea of selling my 1984 Mesa M-180 power amp loaded in a 4U rack case. This is the power section of a IIC+ Coliseum in a rack. About 2 years ago Mike B. did a full service & recap, new power tubes (Mesa 5881s), new power cord, added a Presence knob, and added his "Deep" mod on a push / pull. He also configured it to be as close to the power section of the IIC+ Coli as he could. The transformers are the same PNs as the C+ Coli as well, except this has 10 big blue filter caps where the Colis have 8. Essentially this turns any lesser Mark amp with a slave out into a Coli. It takes your current amp and makes it tighter & way more massive. The case has some road wear however the guts & function are 100%. I would let it go for $2000 net to me + shipping. (I get good FE rates) I'd knock off $100 if you don't want the rack case, and $200 if you want to supply your own tubes (6 power & 2 pre).
