Testing out some tube types in my Einstein. These are 77's and 6550's. Not going for brutal but a nice singing sustain.
Opinions wanted please.....
Thanks!

That sounds great! Are you using effects? Has a nice spacious sound to it.

Keep those clips coming.

Thanks Wheelman!
There was no pre or post eq and the amp was almost flat. Just trying to capture the amps response with the tube combo.
I am running a pcm70 in parallel for the delays, but for this clip it was dialed pretty far down. If it was just one guitar then it would have been way more dominant in the track. What gives it that spacious sound is the triple tracking effect. One panned almost dead center, the other about 3 and the other at 8. The amp can get extremely heavy sounding but theres a lot of those type of clips on the web. I really love the way I can get it to sustain without it being wimpy or dying out and I'm thinking this tube combo might just be the keeper after all. Well, thanks again.
