VH4 with =C= 6L6GC

Has anyone used this combination? If so, what are your thoughts about the sound quality? I've got a quad that I'd like to plug in, but I don't want to if they don't sound good together (for health reasons, moving shit around is really painful). I primarily play metal with guitars that have either Warpigs, Aftermaths, or EMG 81/85.

Figure I'll try again, has anyone tried out 6L6's in a VH4?

The winged C 6L6 is like a hifi tube.
Try a 6L6-JJ or a KT77-JJ.

I used to run Tung Sol 5881 in VH4 before.
You would get more highs and lows from 6L6GC/5881 type tubes.
But I feel KT77 or EL34 has tighter attack, thats why I still sticked with JJ KT77.

Do remember to flip the 6L6/EL34 switch.

The EL34 / 6L6 switch was a big mistake.
You always have to re bias.
