I am trying to program my VH4 in my rig. I do the procedure to get the amp into OMNI mode, and then I am able to make program changes and save them. Everything is working just fine, programming perfectly, etc. The problem is that I am losing all stored information when the amp is powered down. I have to start over every time I turn the amp on, even having to put it back into OMNI mode.
I read the owner's manual twice and can't find anything about if something has to be done to "permanently" remember midi settings. My herbert didn't do this.
The rig consists of:
Ground Control pro -> GCX switcher -> TC elec G major 2 -> Herbert -> VH4
