Just bought a VH-4!

Hey everybody!

Just got my VH-4 and I´m really excited to try it out together with the rest of the band!

Anyone got any EQ settings to share??

Have a good one,

The UDO

Based on clock settings.
---------------------------
Clean - Bass:1 Middle: 1 Treble:3 Gain:12 Bright:On
Crunch - Bass:1 Middle: 3 Treble:2 Gain:5 Bright:On
Rhythm - Bass:2 Middle: 11 Treble:1 Gain:5
Lead - Bass:1 Middle: 1 Treble:1 Gain:1

Deep - 12 to 2 (depends on the place)
Presence - same as above

The channel volumes are set to 10 and the mix level to 9
I'm using a Korg DL8000R Digital Delay full wet on the parallel loop
and a TC Triple C Compressor on the serial insert of the clean channel and only when it's needed (usually for arpeggiated stuff only, like an Andy Summers kind of sound).

BTW Congrats for your brand new baby!!! :)

Gain - Rhythm on 5? I'm playing with JB's and always dail the gain between 11 and 12.

I'm usually playing with PAFs that's why. If I use my strat which is equipped with an Anderson HN3 humbucker I lower the gain too at 3 'o' clock!
I have Ruby's 12AX7 preamp tubes which are smoother and not so gainy as others (eg. High grade).

I use a Paul Reed Smith CE-24 with the HFS and Vintage Bass pick-ups.
My cab is a no-name with celestion speakers. I would prefer to have the Diezel cab with vintage 30 elements or the Recto cab.

Thanks guys!!
