Diezel VH4 clip with Sovtek´s 6550 WE

They could be biased even colder to 35 to 38 mA imho :D - they'll still sound tight then...

...but - hell yeah - that's what I have had in my VH4's since I play them and all those higher prized tubes do not make a better job in the mix than those cheap WEs do and as I heard, that Jaimz uses them either in his "No1" VH4... *smiles*

:m17: :m17:

...klingt jedenfalls so.

6550 were my fave bottle in the VH4

I liked the clip!! Playing's definitely got some dick behind it which is better than those "barely cracked open" clips where the acoustic strumming of the strings overbears the amp's sound.

Here is a brand new video:

Hetfield´s tone!!!!! ;)

My video sounds way more scooped in the mids... ok in Hetfield´s Rack there´s a lot more than only a Vh4 haha ;) but i think about to try in my Mesa cab two Veteran 30 ( in an X pattern ) with the original Vintage 30´s. When i hear the difference in this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UW2n8Uv3rDc ) i think it can be help a lot to sound more like Het ;)
Please excuse the shitty english :D

I was just wondering how a Diezel would sound with these tubes.

Thanks for the video. Sounds massive.

6550s still my fav in the VH4!! i have them in my Einy combo...totally kills it. i even run them a little hotter than normal
