Merry Christmas everyone!!
I had a strange issue last night with my D-moll. I switched it on, all the lights came on then went off and none of the front panel controls worked, no sound came out although it was sending a signal through the effects loop.
There was a strange electronic interference type noise coming out of the speakers that got louder when the bass player started playing. I had to use a spare head for the gig.
Plugged it in this morning, switched it on, everything's fine, started up as normal and sounds its usual awesome self. I've long suspected the power supply in the venue isnt the best as I've had issues with other stuff in there in the past. My question is if it is something to do with the power supply in the venue what would be the main culprit for causing such strange behaviour?
It's also got me thinking about protecting my head from poor supplies, what do you guys use? Is it just a surge protector or is there something out there specifically for cleaning up dirty supplies?
