Vh4 and octave pedal..

Hi,

Is it ok to run an octave pedal in the channel insert for channel 3? I'm asking as I've heard different opinions as to whether the insert loops are placed before or after the pre amp and usually I'd run this pedal before the distortion.

All the loops are placed after the preamp and therefore after the distortion.
