I would love to get a real matching cab for my D-Moll at some point...but I tend to prefer 16 ohm cabs IME. I'm curious if there is a specific reason Diezel cabs are wired at 8ohm mono vs 16. Thanks!
Mesa Boogie does the same. IMO running an 8 ohm load whether it be 2 16 ohm cabs or just 1 8 ohm seems to thicken the tone, a much fuller sound as compared to a 16 ohm load. That is just what I have noticed.
