Just got a 'Lil Fokker in the mail today. It is one mean mofo, very immediate attack and damn aggressive. It sounds very VH4 channel 3 to my ears. It is quite a bit drier than the D-Moll, so I'm sure it will shine even more in a band setting.
If it had a switchable mute, it could be my new #1. Honestly, the gain channel is everything I've ever wanted. If there was a 2 channel Diezel with the same voicing of the LF but with the switchable loop, MIDI, mute, etc. I would be all over it...and the signature metal grill Although I wonder if part of the magic is in its simplicity. Either way, I love it. We will be tracking our EP in October with the D-Moll, the LF, and a 5153. The engineer is a good bud, so I'll try and get some of the iso tracks of both the D-Moll and the Lil Fokker.
