Herbert Jr.

thats pretty cool…

while atm having my VH4 at home for recording my bands EP, I´d love, to have a Diezel Lunchbox Amp at home for the time, when my VH4 gets banned to rehearsal room again...

Some of the 18 watt offerings by other manufacturers are plenty loud.
So I would belive Papa's "Max"(how many other kids get an amp named after them)
Will be volume plentiful.

It seems, at least all kids, named "Max"

Peter this sounds Awesome .

My wish list

I don't know if possible but I know 6v6 is a fairly big tube compared to el84 ,If this amp could use a 6l6 Kt77 for a 22/50 option that would be very cool.
Would love a gain ch based on Lil Fokkrer maybe a +/- switch for lower gain crowd
Dual master for leads . even if on the back
Also a Zerrer like voiced direct out so it can go direct to board.

Finally in your experience so far do you think it possible to get SOME that Tight Heavy low end chunk out of a small watt 22 or do you really need a 100 with different transformers

You can get tight lowend out of just about any properly designed amplifier if the power tubes aren't driven too heavily at maximum master volume.

Papa can you give any more details in this
One very interested

Also would be super cool if you could use
Other tubes to get a 22/50 capability
Please consider :)

The design is not ready, but the amp is sounding
good and loud enough for recording and small
practice rooms.

I think about a dual channel like Fokker but
reverb pot for each channel. I don't think it
needs 2 masters for a small amp.

Oh man, im thinking to get a small 18W amp like the badger or similar but I think I definitely have to wait for the max.

That sounds awesome .still selfishly wish that we could have the ability to use 2 34s or 6l6 to get 50 watt lol or perhaps a series the 22 and the 50.
That would would be awesome but this does sound like a killer small amp ,Reverb per channel is a sweet addition.

Thanks so much for sharing Papa

do you think the prototype of amp will be ready for the NAMM or you prefer wait for the Musikmesse?
