VH4 vs VH4S Weight Difference

Can anyone tell me what the weight difference is between the VH4 and the VH4S?

Thinking about trading my VH4S for a VH4 and I was wondering how much lighter the 4 is. I'm not making any use of running effects in stereo. The only benefit I'm getting is the saturation in the lower volume.

If you're having trouble lifting the VH4...the VH4S isn't going to be easier.
If you're having trouble lifting the VH4S...the VH4 isn't going to be easier.

I'm sure there's a difference, but I didn't NOTICE it.

They both have substantial mass.
 
The VH4 is half the weight of the VH4S





































































Just kidding. The VH4 is friggin' heavy, so if the VH4S is too much to lift, the VH4 is not going to change anything for you.
 
Difference in weight is due to an extra output transformer, perhaps a few components but they should be negligible. Total difference should only be few pounds at most...
 
2 (smaller) 50w OT's in the VH4S
1 (larger) 100w OT in the VH4

The S SHOULD be a little heavier...but maybe just a kilo or two.



There's also several more knobs and output jacks...so there's that.
