Turn Deep and Presence to 0 on the pedal and
go from the power amp out into the serial loop
return. Try to A/B the SS preamp and the tube
preamp of the VH4 channel 3.

I never messed around with the serial loop.
Before I try, can someone tell me exactly how to do this?

Plug your guitar into the guitar input of the Zerrer

Then connect the power amp out jack on the Zerrer with a
guitar cable to the serial return of the VH4.

Turn down the Deep and Presence on the Zerrer as you have
it on the VH4. Twice is too much.
 
I tried that, but the vh4 is stereo, this only allowed me to use it on channel A or Channel B.
