Diezel Einstein Amp Vibration Issue

I recently purchased a Diezel Einstein 50 Watt Combo. When it is turned on and in standby mode, there is a vibration through the amp. If you place your hand on top of the amp, it feels like you can feel the electricity flowing through the transformers. Is that normal? I replaced the tubes and it continued to do it. It doesn't make a noise coming out of the speaker, but the vibrations do make a sound resonating from the cabinet. I've never had an amp do this so it doesn't seem right.

Thanks,

I have an Einstein combo too. Does exactly the same thing. Like you I thought this may have been an issue but its not. I've had the amp 4 years now and it still amazes me at every gig..... Congrats on a very wise purchase!

The combo has the 100 watt main transformer
to avoid getting too hot. Maybe this was the wrong
decision. To lower the bias helps maybe a bit.

Interesting.... Might explain the weight too!

One thing I've wondered about the combo is why the speaker is connected with a trs plug (stereo)?

Have asked before but never got an answer...

I see, it definitely works!! So if I connect an extension cab to the combo should I use a trs jack wired as the internal speaker?
