Hi, everybody.

I have a problem.
I bought a new Diezel Hagen in Tubetone Russia.
But when I began to use it many problems catched me in a couple months.

First is the second chanel. I will show in video file.

Second is a sound. I saw how tubes warm.
safety fuses burn out every two weeks.
I changed tubes but the problem stayed with me.
When I opned my amp I saw... you can see it in photos.

I would like to ask you is it a new amp?
Is it a normal?
Should I be care about it?
My friend in Kiev has Herbert but there are no such additions in it. Everything is clear.
But there are many blue additions brazing by hand in my amp.

Best regards,
Pavel

I agree with Gutman.
Contact Peter directly and he can tell you if someone has messed with the amp.

I'll tell you channel 2 sounds GREAT on my Hagen...so, something is definitely off with that one.
Peter may even see this post and reply.

Either way, you need to get the amp to him for a proper fix.
Diezel service is AMAZING and Peter has gone out of his way to help me out.
If something IS wrong, he will help.

Good Luck, hope your Hagen gets back to normal because it will make you very happy!!

I don't know.
I bought a new amp from official dealer in Russia- Tubetone.
I am very surprised what is this. I saw it because my amp doesn't work right and I open amp to change tubes and check wires and saw it accident.
When I asked Tubetone that is this and give me a new amp they answered it is Diesel and it is normal for them. They say that Diezel do it.
I could not believe and decided to ask here.
To say you the truth I don't know what should I think in this case and how to solve my problem.

That ain't right and that amp ain't new. Looks like it's been mistreated.

Peter will certainly sort that out for you. He's really helpful.

Best to email Diezel directly as a first port of call.

Tubtone - Russian dealer said this is normal for Diezel.
And there is nothing terrible.
But I haven't ever seen like this.
I mean what I see on photos.
I showed it on our russian guitar forum all our service
managers suppose that it is not normal.
Also I receive many reviews from guitarists all of them think
that it can not be normal.

To sum up I don't want to send my amp to russian dealer.
I find out some very important things about them from Moscow guitarists)
Will see what will be with my amp, I hope everything will be allright, I like my Hagen.
But I can not realize how it made inside))
Also I found out that there are many people who buy Diezel on e-bay and everywhere but not in Tubtone by the same reason.
And now, I will too))
I closed the door to Tubetone not to Diezel)

I bought a 2005 Einstein and own a 2013 Herbert and I pulled the chassis on the 05 Einstein and there is none of those spots ..that's wierd.

Idiots
We quoted Peter himself and offered the customer to bring in his amp for inspection and, if needed, repair under warranty. We're an official dealer for Diezel and we only sell new amps. We stand by the product and offer full support. Instead, the customer decided NOT to resolve this issue with us, but rather start a flamewar on the local forums bashing both Diezel and us for some reason. Go figure

My apologies. I have seen Fred on here and he seems to be a good person.

Hi.
When I opened my amp I saw that I showed on the photos.
My question was : is that normal for Diezel or it is a mistake?
You said that it is normal for Diezel and a new Diezel looks like on my photos.
That is all.
I received answer and thanked.
Also I asked Diezel owners to confirm that their amps are like mine.
But people did not confirm this.
I don't see a flamewar in my case it was just a question.

I received answers from other customers and decided to solve my issue without a dealer.
Everything is fine.
I am satisfied.
It is just my conclusion from reviews owners.

Pavel

Dear Pavel,

to finish the drama.

The solder joints on your Hagen don´t looks perfect
because there is a lot of solder fluid around. In 2013
we swapped over to a new lead free solder wire.
The solder joints are tight and we didn´t remove
the fluid by scratching over it or use cleaner.

If the fluid is disturbing you, get in your car and
come over to me. I will remove the fluid and will
check the amp. Can do also some mods to fit your
needs. You have full support be TT or me.

I have also done some circuit mods on the first Hagen
to improve sound. You see that on the pictures.

Just enjoy the amp and play your guitar.

I tell you a story:
Today I had to re tube a modified Marshall done by me
in 1985. (Edit) And my Marshall mods looks like shit.

But the amps works with satisfied customers.

I´m responsible for any issues you have and my phone
number is +49 9288 957664.

I know you paid a lot of money and you also paid
for support. So get back to me (Edit)

I honestly give my best for customers who get in contact.
(Edit)

And .... I´m anything else than perfect.

Can you make some clips of your Hagen ?

Thanks,
Peter

Pete=stud haha! :) that's crazy good support... Very few manufacturers would even think about cleaning up the inside of an amp just to satisfy a customer for something that has nothing to do with functionality or offer to mod to your tastes. Diezel is home always for me for sure from sound first then because of this. True gentleman. I don't normally do that sort of thing but damn that was an awesome response.

Sorry, I was rude yesterday and did edit my post.
Everything is fine with me. Just contact me when
there is an issue.

Thanks,
Peter
