Diezel tubes

Just wondering if all Diezel amps come with 12ax7B Chinese preamp tubes ? I have JJ KT77 power tubes in it for the power tubes. I got the amp on a trade (Lil Fokker) and thought it was strange it had two different tube brand names in it. The preamp tubes are marked 12ax7B Chinese.

These sound like the stock tubes.

Peter picks the tubes that he thinks have the best balance of tone and reliability AFAIK. So the brand of the preamp tubes and power amp tubes vary.

I bought a used Hagen that came with EL34's. Been playing with different speaker combos as I though the low end was kinda compressed and a little muddy. Swapped out the tubes last night for the recommended JJ KT77's and holy shit did it make a difference! Tone is spectacular. Whatever tubes the good folks at Diezel recommend, I would go with.
