Zilla Fatboy 2x12 and Herbert?

Considering getting a Zilla Fatboy, primarily for the Herbert. Has anyone played this combination? Have some reservations because I've heard the Herbert can get quite boomy with the wrong cab.

I have, and can confirm it sounds most excellent. My Zilla has been the only consistent part of my rig for 5+ years for good reason :)
If it's any indication, London Guitars (I believe the only dealers of Diezel in the UK), usually share a stand with Zilla at big trade shows. If you're gonna get one, I'd recommend either a V30/Creamback mix, or V30/K100 mix. Paul will likely recommend the V30/Creamback.

Bass and Deep are your best friend :)

Very true - I would think you will be okay, I've been running my VH4 through a Marshall 1936 2x12 with V30's for ages and it sounds amazing. I tend to run my Herbert through a 4x12 but even running it through one side of the 4x12 it sounds immense and as long as your sensible with the Bass control it's fine!
