Diezel herbert Mark2 in a 220v country?

Hi, I tried to search about it, but no answer was clear.

I directly bought a Diezel herbert Mark2 from Germany a few years ago, and have used in the U.S. after changing wires to 120v.

Then I came to a 220v country(mostly average 217v - which is farther from 230v ) . Now I'm wondering if I should use a STEP-DOWN TRANSFORMER(220v->120v) or changing wires back to 230v and using it expecting my Diezel handle rough electron waves.

Since there was no option for 220v, I need to decide which way it should be better for my amp and to get the best sound out of it.

Opinions?

Change it to 230v, Im sure 217v is well within the tolerance of the amps design.
Why wouldn't it be?

hmm just wanted to be sure. Then again if I use a transformer I can provide the more targetted voltage?

Pretty sure you can get the PT wired for 220 volts - email Diezel support in Germany and they can confirm that and how you re-wire the PT - I've got the pdf somewhere, just can't find it at the moment
