Vh4 Channel 2 Tuner Mute Question

Hi,

I'd like to use the insert on channel 2 on my Vh4 as a tuner out/mute as suggested in the manual. I don't know how to 'connect the tip and sleeve internally' on a jack myself. Is there an easy way to do this? Is there a jack you can buy with the sleeve and tip already connected?

I just bought a new plug and soldered wire from ground to hot inside it. If you're not experienced with solder ask your local music store or a friend. Should be a 5 min job tops including time for the iron to heat up.
