Hi! I bought a diezel 4x12 front loaded cab with vintage 30s off music123.com. I was surprised that it says assembled in USA on tha jack plate. I thought these were all made in Germany? Has something changed?

Here's the pic!

Yep. It's legit. All the Diezel cabs sold here in the US since around 2014 +/- have been built by Boutique Amps Distribution in LA, California and (same place where all the Friedman cabs are made). Diezel stopped shipping them over to the USA due to transportation costs. Peter Stapfer has been to the BAD manufacturing facility and provided them with the specs to build them. Same wood used as the cabs sold in the EU. All current new Diezel cabs sold in the US are built in Los Angeles, CA at BAD... unless it is an older cab.

I'll add these cabs sound amazing. I've owned a bunch of different 4X12s... and these sound among the very best. The V30 front-loaded 4X12 from Diezel is killer. Good choice.

Would you say this about the Diezel 2x12's, too? Im in the market for a Diezel 2x12. Im getting hung up on the FL / RL K100's or V30's etc....

Thx for the info! Can't wait to play it, looks great! And I love my Friedman be cab...good to know it's the same guys making em!

+1,000,000. The newer Diezel fl v30 412's have magic dust sprinkled on them or something.
I brought my avatar dovetail 2x12 with the newer diezel 2x12 in the store also just to see. Not big difference there. The 4x12 is a difference though. Tight tight tight

Yep. I strongly recommend the V30 frontloaded 2X12 over the rearloaded or K100 cabs. They sound way better with all the Diezel amps IMHE. They are also built at BAD in LA, CA now.

Thanks for the input!

Finally plugged her in! I'm sure it needs some time to break in but it sounds great already! Well rounded and tight with good but not overly bassy low end. Feels a lot quieter than my recto cab and I find I'm turning my vh4 up to get the same levels. Thanks for the input guys!

Cool. I discovered the same thing with my VH4... I can crank it up much higher on the volume knobs... and it does not get as loud as with other 4X12s... the volume gets eaten up a bit more by the Diezel 4X12... a vastly over-simplified description... but that sums it up... which in turn lets you drive the tubes harder and it sounds much better and meaner too. Really nice cab. Well built and it sounds great with both my Herbert and VH4.
