4x12 Diezel Cabinet

I have a quick question; There is a cabinet at the local sam ash that is 4x12 Diezel cabinet, so they claim; It has no handles on the cabinet and there is only a single speaker jack, no stereo mono jack. They said that they got a group of cabinets from Ultrasound rehearsal in NYC. It has a nice basketweave grill cloth.

My question is that , is this really a Diezel Cabinet?
The Logo has fallen off

Is this an older model, that doesn't have speaker handles?

most likely that would be an old USA made cabinet. ultrasound was a dealer then.

same as friedman bogner, i forget the name at the moment.

you know better ask Diezel as i thin kthere were even some NYC cabs made.

from memory...Gene had some old grill cloth that was "vintage" and indeed he had a exclusive line of NYC Diezel cabs made for him to sell. Can't remember much on the specs (front loaded/rear loaded, speakers, etc...) but I remember him speaking to the impacts of grill cloth on tone as subtle as it may be.
