if the other channels are fine it shouldn't be the power tubes.
run the amp with guitar connected but without playing. then knock on the tubes with a pencil. you will hear if one is bad (the knock noise gets loder with the preamp's gain, but if it is broken you will hear additional crackling and else noises).
if that doesn't lead to anything then power it of, let the tubes cool down, pull them out and bend the little metal plates in the amp's tube sockets together for all tubes (be sure the power lead is not connected to the amp). afterwards put the tubes back in and try the amp again.
if that does not help try to swap the preamptubes that are related to channel 3 --> preamp-tube v2 (http://diezel.typo3.inpublica.de/tech-corner.3.0.html).
if that doesn't help, email papa diezel.

Are those rollerblade wheels on the coasters? That's a great idea.

Indeed they are, well noticed!..
They are softer that normal caster wheels and when moved with the amp on top they provide more cushioning in benefit of the tubes/electronics.

I'm doing that to my cab. Have any info on where they came from?

In Europe we have a chain of DIY superstores called Leroy Merlin.. that's where they are from.
In the US I don't know where they could be found, sorry..

I just got this Zilla 4x12 cabinet loaded with Celestion G12M-65 "Creamback" speakers. The cabinet matches the Hagen perfectly. Hope you like it :)

My Diezel Vh-4

I had 3 Diezel .
Herbert / Hagen and today a VH-4

I can say the Vh-4 is awesome amp .

Clean - Crunch - Lead - Ultra

Versatyle amp it the clean is good but the Herbert was better , Crunch sound like old Marshall and i love it ...
I will buy a Herbert next month because i need both .
Thanks to Diezel and it sound :)

Extensive review to come after I play our next bunch of shows with this; I have a lot to say. Glad to finally be supporting a high-end product I firmly believe lives up to the hype

Nice! What cab is that? Is that a German rear-loaded cab from within the past few years? Bracing on the baffle looks unique, but I'm no expert on 4x12s.

Here's a pic from last night's gig. Herbert and a pair of 4X12's is MORE than enough for a small club  The 4 space rack by the side holds my Furman, Axe FX Ultra, and wireless.

Thanks. Not sure what you are looking at...Bad Horsie Wah is next to it, and the pedal above the foot controller is a EBJr. The only thing above the "FORM" button is a coil of cable that runs to the Wah.

It's an excellent rig! My Hagen was in the car as a spare

Sorry for my bad word selection. Kahawe is correct, I was wondering that what have you programmed that button to do as I was not able to figure out what the label 'Form' could mean.

Herbie. I've got a Diezel 412, but the Orange is the only one currently loaded with V30s, which I like best with Herbie.

Herbie. I've got a Diezel 412, but the Orange is the only one currently loaded with V30s, which I like best with Herbie.

So what was the reason you went back to Orange? How did the K100s sound like?

Hi everyone?
New guy here.
Diezel vh4-user for 2 years now. I have a 2010 vh4 (JJ Kt77) + Diezel 4x12 Fl with K100's and it's awesome!
Effects are coming from a replifex.
In my pedalboard there is: MIDI Mate, Korg tuner, CAE wah, G-string, DC-brick.
So, very simple rig... But it does it for me to play my metal-tunes.

grtz :D

diezel user since 2006, the herbert is my favorite amp.

i owned the einstein and vh4 but didnt really like either of them, but the herbert was perfect for me. i recently played a new 2013 vh4 that sounded awesome and much better than the one i used to own, so im thinking about getting another vh4 now.
