Yesterday we recorded some guitar parts for our drummer to practice at home, so I figured to post it over here too.
The Herbert is fitted with SED Winged C KT88's and JJ ECC803S HIGH GAIN pre tubes and the cab is a FL412 G12K100 (German made). I used a Edirol FA-101 firewire interface and a SM57.
Please don't mind the crappy playing, just listen to the tone (which I think is killer!). Both clips are recorded on channel 2+ with mid-cut on.

This clip is recorded with an LTD MH-400 loaded with EMG 81 (Bridge) / 85 (Neck).

And this one is recorded with a Gibson Explorer, Bare Knuckle Warpig bridge pickup.

Massive!!!

That BKP sounds enormous. What was your tuning for those clips?

Thanks allot!
The first clip is C standard, the second one too but dropped to A#.

I prefer the first one but there's something.... I dunno. it's not bad but it lacks something.
