I just recieved mine a couple of days ago and it is SICK! Best flanger ever! But mine is a bit special! I'll let someone else spill the beans!

I am very excited about this new pedal. I am new to the forum but not the HBE pedals (I have 6 currently) ! They rule! And yes, Joel is awesome as far a customer service and email response goes. Again...........very excited about this pedal.........and another one he mentioned might be coming down the pike! Yeah for the bassists!

Ok....so i talked to Joel via email......great guy again.....I ordered one already and am patiently awaiting and very "geeked up" waiting to get this one! I can no wait............but i will......and it will be worth it!

Mine(as well as the one Michael Amott is getting) are based on some new-old stock thingy that Joel found, but he scored only 18 of them so that's all there will be made like mine. I will let him explain it, but all I know is it is the SICKEST flanger I have ever owned! The regen is off the charts! I used it on the re_recording of Bonded By Blood we are doing(just finished my guitars!) and it ruled. As did my prototype signature distortion Joel built for me! More on that later!

Ok all.....I got my limited ed. FROSTBITE today! I 've got one thing to say...UNBELIEVABLE! Joel has nailed everything with this pedal! I can get such a crazy amount of DIFFERENT sounds out of this! I have to say that this is now my new favorite! I love this pedal...I am going to DEFINITELY use this on some original recording upcoming! BTW, th pictures of my board will be up soon....I almost want to buy a new pedal board just for my HBE's! They deserve it! TONE TONE TONE...all hail HBE and the NEWEST edition to their phenominal line of pedals!

I haven't visited here in ages, but I got my Frost Bite today, and wow. It is WILD. I got it in mind to perhaps replace my Barracuda but I don't think that will happen, as they are such extremely different flangers and I certainly have a place for both.

I'll be doing clips shortly, and I know I'll be incorporating this pedal into my ambient/noise project so I'll whore out some of that when the time comes as well.

I really like this pedal. I thought it might replace my Barracuda but instead it makes an excellent complement to it. Guess I'll just keep them both.

Hi, I have a question about this pedal.

How far does the level knob go? Is it useable as a booster?
I'm thinking of using it as a boostable chorus/flange, if it
can pump up the level.
