Mine doesn't hum either. Maybe something good they worked out in the later ones.

Had both transformers changed to mercs and a bass boost to it. something was up with the way my edge switch was hooked up. all good now

I have #005 and mine does not hum.

The low input was modded with a clean when I got it- components were changed- so I returned it to stock and added the mercs

That didn't have a Mercury output and choke when you got it? I modded that amp for the original owner and installed a Mercury OT and choke. It's been sold to at least one other person before you. Sounds like it's had some work done since I modded it. I put the clean channel in it.
