Egnater IE4 again

Do we have any IE4 enthusiasts in here?

I was wondering, which unit is the lowest serial # after the prototypes? And don't tell me they start with #5501 because mine is much lower. Maybe Bruce can help with this?

Edit: I'm asking because five years after googling about this preamp, #5501 is the lowest serial I've found so far. I believe that I'm holding a really early piece of gear here and want to know how early it really is.

Well, back then (and even now) we never really took it that seriously. The serial numbers were literally random numbers we just put on things we made because......we thought it should have a serial number. You may find a date written inside somewhere? Can you post any photos?
