Lickliter XD120 prototype re-voicing (video content)

I just finished re-voicing the original XD120 prototype that I built. It will be receiving a new custom front panel, new custom front grill, LED lights. This amp has a dual biasing circuit and we experimented with many combinations of pairs. We found that a pair of KT88's with a pair of EL34's sounded best for our taste. What do you think? :rock: :rock:

Could be the video but i also found this. Nice cut and crunch but heavy on the low end..

I like this aggressive sound, yet it is still articulate and tight.
 
i really want to watch/listen to this video but because i suck as a human i do not have speakers attached to my computer at work.

Thanks! The depth and low controls are set @ 2 o'clock. The controls are extremely responsive to their setting. I will get a mic'ed recording of this amp here soon.

The build has a plexi type box, but we are having a custom grill built out of aluminum, it will be a one of a kind. When it is done it should look like a spaceship! Just say no to rice!

It is that! It is closely related to my XD100 circuit
 
This is amp is a beast. I really have to play one. Sounds like everything I want and everything my VHT is missing.
