That's awesome! I did something similar to my old Peavey 5150, painted stripes on the wood behind the metal faceplate.

Very cool. Gonna stripe up my buddy's 100 watt today. Maybe paint the grill as well. I swear I enjoy customizing amps just as much as playing them.

Not a 5150 III, but same similar vibe. Admittedly, painting the corners was a bad choice. I stripped the paint off them eventually
