any XTC owners now any mods

Im having to send my xtc to Bogner and wondering if anyone knows any hotrodding they can do to it..
The website says for 150.00 you can add more distortion I was going to ask if they could put a post and pre 2004 toggle on it too.
Any suggestions???
 
Yes Ive talked to him but I gotta get this thing fixed by Bogner and I dont know if they are hip to puttin his product in their amp. :confused:

ill guess and say "no" but its two wires to connect thats it. have bogner do the work get it fixed and then install the mod yourself.

Is the guy you bought the head from paying for the fix?
 
yes Im getting 500.00 from UPS
60 bench time
give take 2 hrs for 60.00 an hr for repair
and 100.00 shipping back and forth = 280.00 give or take
so Ill be OK and if I have the xtra money Ill pay marvel 70.00 for his little pc board :rock:

it has the post on it I can see the piggy back etc when I opened the amp up I was thinking hey???they can make anextra 70.00 of me hahahah :D

Marvel's circuit board is simple to install. Just remove the "piggy" back you mentioned and connect the two wires from the Marvel board in the same place that you pull the "piggy" back from...that's it. :D
 
I just put the Marvel mod in on Tuesday, Its awesome!! 3 different tones with the switch of the toggle!! The Cameron mod sounds the best to me!! The weird thing is every time I switch it to the Cameron mod it takes 2 years!!!!!!! :D :D :lol: :LOL: :lol: :LOL: :thumbsup:
