Hi guys,

I am prototyping this guitar to test the brand new Hipshot headless guitar bridge system, this gave me a great opportunity to create my very own headless guitar design.

I am not a fan of the ergonomic guitar looks so the design is based on my traditional SS shape, only the lower bout had to be removed in order to access the bridge fine tuners.

Also one of the main features is my exclusive 'hufglow' fingerboard inlays, the strongest photo-luminescent material.

I like the idea of the volute/block at the head....one of the things that I always hated about Steinbergers was that it felt like my hand was going to fly off the end of the neck.

Awesome! Keep us posted please.

You always have bitchin body woods!

Here is how it looks like so far, of course when you want to go outside and take nice pictures it starts raining!!!!
So as soon as its nice I will take better pics...

Btw... whereabouts in Switzerland do you reside? I've always wanted to travel there, specifically to Zermatt -- to take in the Matterhorn.

very very nice, the fret markers are particularly win =)

BC Rich did this back in the 80's with a one-off commissioned guitar called the Burner Bolt. It was a lightning bolt shaped guitar with glow-in-the-dark paint. Once the Kahler double-locking trem was locked down the strings could be cut behind the nut. And the best headstock removed. Epic guitar. Even the most trem bar and was bent into a lightning bolt shape. There's a website out there that mentions it Google "BC Rich lightning bolt Shark Island.

Wow, thats the one and only killer looking headless guitar I've ever seen

1. I like the black parts better than chrome.

2. Why not make the truss rod adjustment available at the head end?

Thank you all for your kind words :)

This is the way I build all my guitar necks, my headless model is basically a 'headless version' of my standard models so structurally speaking, I did not want to change anything :)
