Stopped by the Fractal forum looking for firmware 15 and spotted this

Just effects. Specifically designed for 4CM with dedicated pre- and post- paths. Up to 8 simultaneous effects. Any number assignable pre/post. Any combination of series or parallel routing. Two expression pedal inputs, four relay outputs. USB for remote editing with free FX8-Edit software. Silent Switch technology from the MFC Mark III. True Bypass. Etc., etc.
 
Surprised they omitted the modeling code, interesting. :)
 
Don't know if it's mentioned here yet but they also are releasing an expression pedal to go along with it. Cool stuff going on over there.
 
Looks cool. And even cooler if it does channel switching. :thumbsup:

They only need half the dsp that way, otherwise it would just be a floor unit with everything the rack does plus the additional expense of the footswitch stuff. Hopefully this is a lot cheaper, I mainly want it for the fx anyway so this would be just the ticket. What the g-system should have always been :)
 
Do they have any plans on realeasing just a rack effects unit?
