but his latest tones are like you said too gained out.
his tone with the PV 5150 kicked the shit out of any tone he has gotten with the 5153
and i am a owner of the 5153.
on that live show RHRN his tone was really growling,makes me want to hook up my PV 5150II

When FU came out, I was awe struck. I even think it was the best produced sound they ever recorded. I liked the amps but man were they loud! But I loved the cabs.
