Namm 2018 rumoured new products

I don’t think the Angel sig is ready yet; he seemed to be saying it would be a while longer.

My bet is that Angel Vivaldi guy will be getting a signature Charvel based of his CS guitars. Some dealer posted a new signature Rhoads too, but I can't remember the band. It was kind of cool, kind of not..

thought he was an Ibanez guy. he is endorsed by charvel? weird??

He switched a couple months ago.

Most of the Ibanez stuff is on the website now. Signature stuff always waits until the actual NAMM show, so I’m holding a slim hope that there’s a MIJ UV7 coming, but it seems like no.

I'm completely out of the loop. Who is this Angel Vivaldi guy? All I know is he has one of the most pretentious-sounding names out there. He has to play neo-classical with a name like that.

He comes off as about unpretentious as they come. I’m not real familiar with his work. He can play for sure, but it’s sort of generic shreddy metal I think. But he definitely seems like a cool dude.

I'm with ya.
Either Neoclassical shredder or bad mid 80's Italian softcore porn star... with a moustache.

oh yeah, pretty generic, think ESPN backing tracks during a monster truck rally.

I'm hoping for new or re-issued Rockman gear. Seeing a reboot of the Rockman Sustainor or X100 would be awesome!

It also sounds like a Suhr PT-50 with a direct out option is on the way. Something like a Reactive Load and an ACE incorporated into the amp would make sense.

Any updates on this? I need to try a 100W and 50W. Kinda hyped on this and a current popular 50W...

Please post if you try one at NAMM

It's like break dancing 2 electric boogaloo ..with guitars...

It wishes it was that cool!

More like a Linkin Park video featuring the Backstreet Boys with a generic action film/motorsport telecast soundtrack dubbed in.

Vivaldi...His djentlemen backstreet boy antics are soiling Charvel's good name.

+1. Plus the genre of instrumental albums is played out. His style is flat and something I have heard a million times before.
