Hi,
Do they fit?
The Peavey Wolfgang has a weird pickup cavity (that's why Seymour Duncan's don't fit without modification), so will I be able to fit Fishman Fluence Pickups in there?
Still not decided, if they'll be the right pickups for the guitar - I'm considering the Moderns or the KSE set.
Since it has a maple neck and fretboard it's a quite bright guitar, so I'm afraid the KSE set will be too thin. On the other hand, voice 2 of the KSE is supposed to be fatter, more open and to sound great.
I intend to use it tuned to Drop-C for metal. It doesn't really have to be super versatile.
How is the neck lead sound on these pickups?
It would be nice to have a good liquid lead sound. Which set has the better neck lead sounds?
They are quite expensive though... so I'm still not totally sure if the price difference over a lot of passive options is worth it.
Thanks!
