Buying a guitar overseas online, but doesn't ship to the sta

I found a guitar I can only buy from japan. I contacted the website. They only ship domestically. Any way I can cheat the system, aside from having a friend in japan (which I don't) ship it to me, or go there myself? haha FML.

There are a couple of different services that buy items in Japan and ship them over stateside mostly from auction sites. I’ve never used one before so I can’t attest to how good they are but I’ve always been curious - zenmarket and fromjapan are two of the services.

There are plenty of guys in eBay that will get it for you if you point them to it.

I just got an ESP from one of these guys. His user name is superbanjoman. I have no complaints. I kicked the tires asking about a few other guitars that he doesn’t have listed and he quickly provided a quote.

Yeah, those nice looking Japanese ESPs that pop up on eBay and Co are really tempting. Good to know that there's a way to "cheat the system" of domestic shipping
