I'm looking at picking up some of these, and I'm not sure which model to buy. My usual pick of choice is the usual Purple Dunlop Tortex.

So, you V-Pick dudes, what model do you think I'd like?

I've tried small, medium, large, and extra large, all pointed and rounded. I've always used bass picks since my early guitaring days, so I use large rounded. I tried to make myself go to small, but I have fat fingers so I always scraped the top of my index finger when I picked with small picks. What picks do you currently use?

I ordered the medium rounded (the most popular pick they make) and the medium pointed. I prefer the medium rounded. It is more versatile. The pointed one can add some extra attack on leads, but falls short by comparison for rhythm work, imo. The medium rounded is the best pick I've ever played...my tone is fatter and warmer. It glides through the strings like butter, too. It hasn't made me faster, but it is more comfortable in my hand and doesn't move around (great grip). I'm thinking of ordering the large rounded (the creator's favorite pick) next time, just to give it a try (same thickness, wider grip). Oh and for an extra buck you can get the nite-glow picks...pretty f'in cool.

Yeah I'm illiterate I guess!  I would trying the small and/or medium first. If you really like the super thin 1mm get the acoustic picks, they're thinner than the regular.

I recieved the large rounded and screamer picks the other day. The large rounded are perfect for playing electric for me (they have a little wider grip that I prefer over the medium...less movement in my hand). The Screamer gets pinch harmonics easier and I preferred it to the pointed one I recieved prior. It's also good for playing acoustic guitar.
