MOD50 arrives tomorrow! It's here !!!

I can hardly wait for my MOD50, which is scheduled for delivery tomorrow. Thanks Russ! I had a Rebel 20 for about 3 weeks (returned it to GC). I loved the tone, but I needed more flexibility. I'm soooo excited to give this "modular" world a try. From everything I've heard, I should be in for a tonal adventure. My MOD50 is coming with a D/D and an SL2. I figure that will get me started.

Also, I'm loving Rig-Talk. I've already got to know several folks here. Everyone is so helpful. And if you are wanting to sell gear / or need gear. No problem! LOL

The modular world is VERY ADDICTING!!
Wait till you start to get into all the custom made modules........ :rock:
Alot of talented guys in the MTS land that can custom make you modules for pretty much damn near any tone.
 
Congrats.......been lovin' mine for a long while now. If I can say one thing, give it some time!! Really dial those knobs.........swap out tubes (pre and power), play with bias, etc. Don't be afraid to use your ears to dial stuff in. The D/D and SL2 are pretty straigh forward and should sound really good right away. But don't get discouraged if they don't. The Mod's are very responsive to tube changes. I have found the Tung Sol 6550's are fantastic for most modules so far. Be sure and post your impressions.

My next modules will be something higher gain. I'm considering the ERECT and EG5. Anyone care to give some feedback on these little beasts?
 
Hope you enjoy it! I love my Mod50/M4 setup. It's so nice being able to "custom make" your own amp with all the preamp choices.

I have an Erect for sale. Great module had it dialed in close to my Mk III :yes:

I've considered getting an M4 too. Would you mind explaining your rig setup to me? How you use the MOD50 with the M4? Stereo? W/D/W ? Power amp? Signal chain?

It's here !!!!!! The UPS man just dropped off my MOD50. Now I've got to stay focused at work all day. All I really want to do is go home, plug in, and dime it !

Fuck,I love NAD's :rock: :rock: I just have 5 more months tho for mine :cry: Congrats man!!!!
 
Cameron modded Bogner Uberschall rev blue and alot of rack gear the end of this week into next week. :D
