I'm still on a mission to find a good powered mixer for gigs. I'm very unimpressed with most of the newer digital powered mixers. However, I am currently looking at this mixer:

Does anyone know anything about these Carvin mixers?
My old mixer was a crate 8 channel and it started sounding crappy after almost 20 years and no one can fix it. That was a serious bummer. The last 2 repair shops I tried informed me that they now specialize in boutique guitar amps. Which gave me another idea. Check this out...
Can someone build me a nice boutique powered mixer? or would it cost $10k? Any thoughts?
