Michael Romeo/Symphony X

Just saw Symphony X in San Antonio last night....and holy shit what a crushing tone Michael Romeo had! (Actually, the whole band was just smoking!) I did manage to get a shitty iphone pic of his rig, but could only make out a couple of ENGLs on the bottom. Didn't see the brand of 4X12 cabs he was using either (Mesa's?). Anyone have the rundown on his rig these days?

Years ago Micheal auditioned for a band I was in. He was a sick player even back then. We didnt take him cause he didnt have "The Look". Hey, It was the late 80's...

I went to high school with Mike Lepond and his brother Gary. We all know what a monster Mike is on bass. Well I learned a thing or two from Gary on guitar!!!

It's great to see those guys making a living playing music!!!

Cool. I'll be seeing them Sunday - it's nice to see Mike's rig with NO modelers anywhere! ;)

Romeo is great live :)
As whole SX, the Russel voice is so powerfull!

Romeo plays everything during the show so effortlessly, it's crazy.

I've seen them twice and would go again gladly :)
