Swapped out my George L's with EA monorail on my small pedalboard (vol-wah-OCD-phase90-chorus-XTC). I soldered the ends with Switchcraft on both brands. Used it at the gig (blind) last night....waaay too much bass and not as clear. Lots of "on-the-fly" eq-ing. Switched back to the GL's and it was back to normal. So today tried an A/B at home on my Twin with one effect (dbx compressor). Same result...less clarity and a boost in the low-end with the monorail. GL's seemed less "cluttered".

UPDATE: After getting "schooled" in directionality, I set-up the Monorails accordingly. Much better! Needless to say, that's what's on the pedalboard now.
