On high gain I get mucho HISSSS....tried to find the Mod you guys did on the Voodoo database but it only displays part of the repair...not the whole MOD....anyway you can help?
The serial # of my preamp is 921118411

It sounds like you may be running the JMP-1 wrong (as far as proper gain structure). Go to the JMP-1 Mod page and there is a FAQ's link in the Mod description. Click that on and follow the instructions on how to properly set up the preamp and power amp. That should resolve the hiss problem. Regarding the Mod Database, please email cindy@voodooamps.com and she would be happy to assist you with any questions you have (she takes care of the database).
