So the lower watters have 6v6s and the big brothers have EL34s in them...
Are they still voiced the same or do they differ in tone?

Yes they are voiced identically with the exception of the power tubes. To my ears the 6V6's sound like smaller versions of EL34's, which is why we chose the 6V6 verses the EL84's.
