Question:
Footswitch plugged in, it's a 2 button FS, all good.
1. Clean light on, amp goes to Clean
2. Clean light off, amp goes to [I'm guessing] the BE mode
3. Clean light off, Boost light on, amp goes to JBE mode.
Is this correct?

Now, footswitch removed from rear panel, on the front panel beside the bright switch is a 3 way toggle that is labelled Clean-Crunch
1. To the left, it's Clean
2. To the middle, it's BE
3. To the right, it's JBE
Seems like the switch in the event you don't have a footswitch handy.

Everyone following me so far??

Okay, if all the above is RIGHT, than WTF does the JBE toggle on the rear panel do?? :bash: :dunno:

Help a homie out here... I am playing through all formats and that switch ain't changing a thing in the back.
Back to playing for now, going to seek manual off Friedman website.
Any help in the meantime - mega thanks!!
Mo   :D

If that front switch is a 3 way it was also modded when the volume was added. On the stock amp it's a 2 way between clean and dirty and the JBE switch on the back turns the JBE on and off. If the JBE is now on the front and footswitch maybe the rear JBE switch is no longer connected? Just guessing.

Obviously Dave could answer better, and the above is just a WAG.

Thanks man, this is exactly what's happened - Dave got back to me. Front went from a 2-way to a 3-way, along with the additional master vol for JBE channel, and the back toggle is now redundant.

What a tremendous sounding amp
