Hey Dave i recently had old Mullard 12AU7's that i put in my 100 Marshalls in the Phase Inverter slots.

Are there any Pro's & Con's that i need to be aware of ?

Thanks ...

Every time I try a lower gain tube in an amp meant for 12ax7's it never has enough gain. I stopped bothering with it years ago in any slot.

+1] yep you're right. The 5751 wern't cutting it either. Put some NOS Blackburn Mullards back in the PI and Voila' ..... proper.

So much for lower gain.
