Found a way to add a clean channel to the PT-20!

If you've never heard of it, it's a Fender twin style preamp. The useful thing about it though, is that it has a built in channel loop that allows you to connect it to the effects loop of the amp and switch between it and the front end of the amp, essentially adding another channel. While the F1 sounds pretty damn good, and it is convenient, the built-in loop does alter the tone of the amp on the front end somewhat; too much for my liking. So, I just ordered a true bypass loop switcher to switch it completely out of the path in hopes of preserving the tone, so we'll see how that goes.

Just thought I'd share this, as I think some people see this amp as a one trick pony. But, making use of the PT-20's great loop, this method made it much more versatile. I figure this will hold me over until I can send it in for the clean mod. I confirmed this idea would work by watching the vid below:
