Bogner Lindhurst Problem...

I just recieved my Lindhurst Compressor about three weeks ago. Last night at rehearsal, there was a slight squeek from my amp which I acredited to bad Power... However when I tried to turn on the compressor, the signal died all together and there was a massive hiss and a still louder squeek. When I exclude the pedal from the effects chain everything works fine so I know the problem lies with the Lindhurst. Could it be a bad switch? A bad solder joint to the switch maybe? Anybody else have a similar problem?

Thanks!

What's your power source? Battery or wall wart or pedal power? Are you sure it's getting correct amperage?

Don't know but it runs on a battery too so you can test that way and since it runs on a battery it's probably not the issue. I think bogner recommends this as of the first pedals in your chain, before any buffers so you might try changing effect order if it isnt...
